Free Purchase Order Generator
A purchase order (PO) is the document a buyer sends to a supplier to confirm what they want to buy, at what price and when it should be delivered. It prevents misunderstandings and lets you match the supplier's invoice against what you ordered.
Here your business is the buyer: add the vendor, the items with agreed prices, the delivery date and any terms. The PO number you choose is what suppliers should quote on their invoices.
What a purchase order should include
- The words "Purchase Order" and a PO number
- Your business (the buyer) and the vendor
- Items, quantities and agreed prices
- Delivery date and delivery address
- Payment terms
- Tax, if prices exclude it
