Construction invoice template

Construction billing usually happens in stages and often involves retention, materials and subcontracted labour. This construction invoice template keeps each stage on its own line, shows payments already received and works with reverse-charge rules where the construction sector uses them.

Invoice against a contract or work order reference, list materials and labour separately and record earlier stage payments in 'Amount already paid' so the balance is always right. Use Quotation for tenders and Purchase Order when you buy from suppliers.
